Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. I am
soliciting prayer for my marriage. It seems that after making
the decision to turn my life over to God, the enemy has been doing
what he is known for doing.....steal, kill, and destroy. I refuse
to allow him to ruin my marriage!!! My husband is a God fearing
man however he seems to have fallen weak over the course of the
past few weeks. I know that I serve a true and mighty God and
he supplies my every need, I would simply like a few praying warriors
interceding on our behalf. This is a second marrige for the both
of us and we have only been married for three years---we blended
two families together (a total of 5 childern). I pray blessing
over my children that they will grow stronger in the Lord . Thank
you Glory Girls for being a blessing in my life, and continue
to pray my strength in the Lord as I do the Lords will by facilitating
a GG ministry in Texas.

Pray for my pastor that she will have peace. Her husband of 11
yrs. Just walked off and she's struggling to maintain her faith
in front of our congregation. She is a strong woman, but she is
still a woman. Please hold her up before the lord and that she
will hear with clarity what god is saying to her. The man was
mentally abusive to her, would not work and did not respect the
anointing on her life. I know so much, because i am her biological
sister and i know that god has to much more for her. She is truly
a beautiful loving pastor that is adored by her congregation.

I'm not sure how to start this, but I want to say that I was
so relieved to find your site. I am a member of the Black Expression
book club and have been for years. I am always trying to find
something to read that is fulfilling and enlightening and especially
spiritual. When I got this month's issue I saw your article. I
wondered what to say if I wrote. Well I would just like to ask
you to consider to pray with me and my family as we venture into
the care of my ill mother. I live with her now and it requires
a lot of patience and prayer. She has high blood pressure, has
had strokes since 1993 and in 1998 she suffered a heart attack.
I Love my mother dearly and living with her has even been good
for me. We are closer and have a relationship that I never knew
possible. Anyway, sometimes she gets irritated (I'm sure that's
all it is) and she says things that I know she cannot mean and
I tell her that God's doesn't like ugly and we have to pray when
things seem difficult. But I know that is easy for me to say,
I'm not the one in pain and confined to the house. Also, I have
three other sisters that live in a 50 mile radius, but I am the
one responsible for her care. They sometimes do not come or call
to see if there is anything to be done. I don't want to feel anything
but Love for them, but I need them to understand that this is
OUR mother. I hear them say that they don't have to worry about
Mom because "___i" is there with her, but they may need to worry
about me. I get so tired sometimes, but God always gives me strength
and courage to go on. I am a much better woman since I started
this venture almost 4 years ago when I lost my husband of 20 years
in a car accident. I went to stay with my mom for 2 weeks and
have been there every since. I just need some encouragement sometimes
and support. I would do this over again for my Mom cause that's
just how I feel about her. I truly do Love her and know that she
cares for me too. I ask that you PRAY for all of us. I will pray
for ALL of you. Thank you;

I am trusting and believing that God will increase my territory.
There have been days when I didn't know what I was going to eat,
and He fed me. There have been days when I didn't know how I was
going to purchase my medication, but somehow, someway I got it.
I have had diabetes for twenty years and Lupus for seven so I
can't depend on anyone else but God. Girls could you PLEASE pray
that my finances would get better for me and my husband? I realize
that probably everyone is going thru hard times and I'm no different
but I want you all to know that I will pray for you also. So May
God continue to Bless You and Keep You. For We Are All His Children!

and I am believing GOD to save him and bring restoration to our

My Name is Shawn and my 8 month old son was born with a condition
called arthrogryposis...he can't move or make sounds...his feet
are clubbed and his hands are contracted..
I know that the presence of GOD is around and that he is covered
by the blood but I need strength to continue to believe...my faith
is growing faint...I have four other children and I wonder what
kind of mother can I be to everyone when I have to focus so much
on one...I know that God will give me no more than I can bear
but right now I feel so weighted. Pray that I may becoming stronger
in my faith so that I can give al of this to him and not worry
that it will come out for the best of my children.
I thank God from where my help comes from. I ask in Jesus' name
to help with my finances they are at a all time low. I was refused
a job after being told I was hired, quit my present job the company
really let me down. No job, no car riding buses, husband in nursing
home; I ask the Lord God who supply all my needs to have mercy
on me for answered prayer. I read my Bible daily King James Version.
I love to read Psalms. My favorite is the 121. Pray with me touch
and agree with me for answered prayer.
I am requesting prayer for myself and my family. After having
a wonderful for job teaching handicapped children, I became disabled
due to CHF. Sometimes it seems so hard to carry on, but God has
brought me through. I would like prayer for God to show me where
to go from here, His plan for my life, and that I will be able
to recognize His leading, because right now I feel like i'm just
stuck in this one place for the pass 3 years. At home taking care
of my grandson, and my son who is mentally handicapped and a husband
who is not saved, and an older son who refuses to grow-up and
do what God would have him to do and be a father to his children.
I need prayer for them, and for me to be a living witness for
Christ in my home and my community and in my church. I asked God
to bless this ministry of Glory Girls.
I have just finished reading the book, I Say A Prayer For Me
by, Stanice Anderson. If my financial situation was different,
I have so many young ladies in my community who are struggling
with alcohol and drugs that I would give each one of them this
book. I often go and talk to them, be there for them, especially
their childern, it is so painful to see them like this. I pray
everyday for God to use me to led them back to Him. It hasn't
been easy, but because of the love God has placed in my heart
for others, I am determined to continue on in His strength. Pray
for me and I will continue to pray for this minstry.
That my two sons be reunited with their wives and family. God
already said that He's going to save them. My middle son just
got out of jail and is in need of a job; so does my youngest son.
All three of them + my husband need to be set free from anger
and the past. My husband has a good job but don't half work. I'm
believing God because He can not lie. He's going to save my household.
Bless you in Jesus' name.
Pray for my sustained faith to believe in God 's healing power
for my father who has cancer.
Grace and Peace Sisters in Christ:
This is my "test": My husband and I have been praying and trying
to have children for over 10 years. During this time I have miscarried
3 times. To make a long story short, last November God promised
me twins (Genesis 38 - Tamar...) and he confirmed it this year
by leading me again to Genesis 38 and Genesis 25 (Rebekah). I
know God is faithful and will come through. I am writing because
we just went through and IVF cycle two weeks ago and the doctors
say I am not pregnant- the cyle failed or aborted. You notice
I said the doctors said and not God said. I also did not include
this pregnancy in the number of miscarriages listed above because
God has not confirmed that the cycle has failed.
Although I am spotting (sorry to be graphic) I am still trusting
God for HE is not one who would lie. He (God) has been sending
me scriptures left and right to let me know that He has not forsaken
me. So I truly believe He will come through. Being through all
that we've been through sometimes the flesh gets the best of me.
I fall down but I don't stay down for long. My prayer request
is that you will pray that our (my husband and I) faith remains
strong while we are awaiting the twins he promised me. Two scriptures
God led me to that won't leave my mind are: Romans 4:20-21,"Yet
he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God,
but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being
fully persuaded that God has power to do what he promised. The
other scripture is Isaiah 55:11 "so is my word that goes out from
my mouth, It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish
what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Please
know that I am no longer "desperate" to have a child. My soul
longs for my twins, but it's not desperation. It is now anticipation
and expectation. I am anticipating my blessing and expecting God
to keep his promise.
Please specifically pray for my twins, for God did not promise
me one child. Even if I end up being the next "Sarah," I know
that God will keep His promise in His time not mine.I am sure
some people think that I have lost my mind. That's OK because
I remember once hearing that faith will make you look like you're
crazy; therefore, I must be on the right track. Thank you in advance
for your prayers. I will be sure to let you know when the miracle
is manifested. As I stated this is my test; but' it will soon
be my testimony!!! Be blessed!!
Please agree with me in prayer for a good praying job, with good
benefits, best job I have ever had, freedom to work independently,
work I like to do, some Christian people on the job, and favor.

I would like to God to bless my Son to be able to have funds
to make our house a home because a year ago everything was taken
from us by a family member on drugs. We are now beginning again
from as if we don't have anything because everything was taken
we now have a new sofa and table but it seems to be hard to get
the other things we need. I thank God for the sofa, table, and
beds and refrigerator but I would like for it to come together
so that it look more like a home.
For my marriage to grow stronger, better and closer and truly
more Godly. For my son to get to know Jesus for himself and stay
where he is in job corp. For my brother and sister and everyone
I know. Praise God and thank you.
Thank you for being here! I just had a press in my spirit to
go to borders in Marietta, Georgia today and I picked up a flier
concerning books by Renita Reems, and Michelle Stimpson.
Please pray for me and my family (husband & 3 kids) we are believing
God to do great changes and new things in our way of living -
spiritually, financially. I am also a writer and am hoping to
complete 2 of my books to have ready for release this summer.

Recently, I purchased and read the book "I Say A Prayer For Me"
by Stanice Anderson - from Wal-Mart. The book's presentation and
message was awe-inspiring. Praise God for Stanice's faith and
for her obligation to touch others with the love of God - contemporary
testimonies strengthen a true relationship with the Almighty God.
As you may know, in the back of Stanice's book there is a brief
introduction about Glory Girls - an answer to prayer. I am inspired
to support your God given vision and to encourage my friends to
do the same. Your organization will provide me the opportunity
to become a faithful reader of Word centered and God inspired
books. I praise God for the vision He has given you. What a wonderful
way to encourage women of God and to witness to others about His
greatness. With the direct guidance of the Holy Spirit, I too
put my story in print.
However, the manuscript has not been submitted for publication.
My Prayer Request: "To have the faith to share my story with
others, and create in me the passion to see this assignment to
the end."
I need much prayer for my marriage that I get an understanding
of what to do when I have given up? My marriage is at a standstill
of separation but still in Love. I am seeking Spiritual Prayers

Dear Sisters in Christ Jesus, As I give my life, honor and praise
to God the Father, in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the
Christ; please agree with me in prayer that the Glory Girls reading
group will select my debut novel this year. I know that my book
was ordered of the Lord for this day we're living in. Many who've
it have been truly blessed by it. New Christian authors need the
support of successful book clubs as well known authors do--even
moreso. My prayer is that God gives great favor to my petition.
I thank the Lord for hearing this prayer and granting me all things

for my mother who was just diagnosed with colon cancer. She will
be undergoing surgery if her heart is strong enough. She is 85
years young. A woman of God and strong in the faith. Thank you

just finished reading Stanice Anderson's I Say A Prayer for Me
and must thank God for the sending her story my way. We all know
that nothing is an accident in the Master's Plan. Her book was
a blessing. I come today asking all the saints of God to pray
for me that I continue to humble myself and become the instrument
God preordained me to be. I have struggled mightly over the past
year in various areas of my life, however I know what God has
a purpose for me and I humbly accept whatever he has chosen. Pray
that I remain open and receptive to his plan and will become a
beacon of light for another lost soul. When all is said and done

First I wish to give praise to the Almighty GOD. I registered
with your group on 01/14/04. Please pray that I grow stronger
in the LORD and that my 3 young men draw closer to the LORD, and
we get closer as a family instead of arguing most of the time

Dear Most Heavenly Father,
First, I thank you for this site that will help intercede on my
behalf. I thank you for waking me up this morning because I know
you didn't have to do it, I am so glad that you did. I thank and
praise you for my family that all is well with them. I thank and
praise you for my job, although it gets hard I thank you for the
ability to have work. I thank you for friendship and for the glory
girls prayers closet.
I pray for a closer walk with the Lord. I pray that my daughter
will be able to get closer to God and see Him in His glory! I
pray that God would continue to shower me with good health and
the ability to graduate August 2004, Master in Administration
and I am praying that God would open a door for me in terms of
a new position for the new year! A position that would correlate
with my future graduate degree in Administration, a great increase
in pay so that I can become a crazy tither.

Ladies, Please pray my strength in the Lord. God has a work for
me in his Kingdom. And everytime I get close and happy and just
prasing him I am attacked. Just please pray that I continue to
remain faithful and stand on God's word.
My prayer request is for my household - mainly for myself. I
am a woman of much faith and stand firmly on the word of God however,
I have been married just a little over 1 1/2 years and my life
seems to be a living mess from the time I said I do. I know the
Lord will not put on me more than I can bear but the load is getting
heavier by the day. The more I cast my burdens the more it seems
I am weighted down. I don not currently have a prayer partner
so I ask that you will pray with me in faith for God to move mightily
in my life. I so desire want to be a Godly wife and mother but
I am failing at every turn and I just don't know what to do anymore.
It is wearing on me spiritually, mentally and physically.
