When Sydney is suddenly widowed, the preacher’s daughter

and the demands of the church seemed outrageous to her. But when
she learns a devastating secret about her past, Sherese realizes
that if she doesn’t have faith to lean on in a crisis, what
does she have?
Chanel has come a long way from her impoverished childhood; now
she has all the trappings of success: a good business, a loving
husband and a child. But when life still doesn’t seem perfect,
she allows temptation into her cozy family. So when all becomes
exposed, Chanel has to lean on Lord and her friends and pray she
hasn’t ruined all she has.

trip to clear their heads, to search for assurance and learn that
in faith, there is hope.
