Welcome to GloryGirlsRead.net
GLORY GIRLS™ is a national organization made up of primarily
African American Christian women yet it welcomes the participation
of anyone who loves the God of the Bible and likes to read. GLORY
GIRLS™ groups are not online groups and
you can participate free of charge.
Our Purpose Is Simple:
- To honor the Lord with what we read--and have a good time
doing it!
- To provide an atmosphere where readers can fellowship with
other book lovers while encouraging them in the choices they
have made in Godly reading materials.
- To offer readers fresh, contemporary, and entertaining yet
Scripturally sound fiction and non-fiction by talented Christian
authors.
- To assist and support believers and non-believers in discovering
the relevancy of the Bible in our contemporary, everyday life.

Happy Fifth Anniversary Glory Girls!!!!
Five years ago this November, Glory Girls™: Reading Groups for
African American
Women Who Love God and Like to Read, had its first meetings.
Since the
beginning God has blessed us! Beginning with one group of 10
women in
suburban Detroit, we have grown to nearly 3,000 women all across
the country
and we are the largest African American reading group in the
world!
Some of those original members are still with us and to you we
say, "Thank
You" for catching the vision early and keeping us in your
prayers.
Thank you for trusting us with so many of your prayers concerns.
We take
them very seriously. From our prayer request page we join our
faith with
yours and personally answer dozens of prayers each month. We
have smiled as
you have shared hundreds of testimonies of how Glory Girls
has been a
blessing to your lives and the lives of your friends and families.
As we continue to press forward with what God has told us to
do, know that
you are in our prayers and that we are honored to have you as
members as we
all go about honoring God with our lives and with what we read!
